Tuesday, 18 August 2015

Within three years Lietuvos Energija company group will introduce a common and integrated business management system in all of its companies.

Energy company Lietuvos Energija announced that the common system will encompass accounting, customer support and technology asset management information systems. An international public tender will be held in order to choose the creator of the integrated business management system. The winner will be obliged to carry out service duties for three years afterwards.

Ilona Daugelaite, Member of the Board of Lietuvos Energija and director for organisational development said, "In 2013-2014 we have analysed main business management systems used by the group and determined that a part of them are no longer supported by producers. The functionality of the system does not meet current business needs, data integrity is ineffective, our expansion opportunities and flexibility are being limited".

Shift towards the new system should reduce the amount of manual labour, create single information structure and allow Lietuvos Energija to better analyse information.
